Annie Graber Wells is our fearless leader and head trainer at Twin Acres! Annie was born & raised in our beautiful valley & has loved being able to share her love for this sport with the ever-growing community! Annie grew up showing on the local & rated circuit shows. Her amateur career spans several major accomplishments, qualifications in derbies, medal finals, and beyond with some incredible horses she had the pleasure of riding! 

Annie attended William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, for her undergraduate career, where she earned her degrees in Equine Science, Equine Administration, and Equine General Studies. Annie took all that she learned during her tenure at WWU and put it to use immediately upon graduation as assistant trainer for two large hunter jumper programs in the Kansas City area, developing young horses, barn managing, running lesson programs, and managing the day-to-day needs of the training/show programs! 

Missing all that Colorado had to offer, Annie moved back to the Roaring Fork Valley to start her own premier program, and Twin Acres LLC gained its footing in the Valley.

Now 8 years into business, as well as over 10+ years as an up-and-coming professional, Twin Acres has given its many riders countless opportunities to fulfill their goals on the local show circuit and at the A & AA levels.

Annie has had the pleasure of learning and working with a ton of wonderful top professionals locally and nationally over the last few years, which has helped continue to shape her growing program! Annie continues to take every opportunity to grow as a rider and trainer, participating in trainer clinics, mentorship programs, and seminars to bring new ideas into the arena so our riders continue to reach new heights and goals.
